Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Ytlear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man's entrance music is All My Life. A fine choice. Ytlear comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Necrophobic - The Third Antichrist kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Man! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, James Ytlear! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Man throws a low kick, looking for Ytlear's leg but Ytlear calmly moves out of range. Ytlear checks a low kick from Man. Man goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Ytlear throws a head kick that misses. Man throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Man sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Ytlear to the ground! Man dives into full mount looking to finish!
Ytlear is rocked!
It looks like James Ytlear has been cut. Man is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ytlear has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Ytlear is still in real trouble! Can Man finish him? Ytlear is trying to reverse the position but instead Man has taken his back - oops! Ytlear seems to have recovered his senses. Man has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Man has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Ytlear has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Ytlear trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Man is trying to stick to Ytlear's back but Ytlear is turning into Man. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Man's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Ytlear. Ytlear advances to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Man looking for a kimura from the bottom but Ytlear passes into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Ytlear working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Man is breathing heavily. Man is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Man manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Ytlear preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Man is just content to waste time from the top position. Ytlear takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Man throwing strikes but missing. Ytlear is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ytlear seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Man does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Ytlear is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ytlear is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Man has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Man is squirming around, avoiding Ytlear's attempts to control the action. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Ytlear wants to take his opponent's back but Man doesn't allow it. Man is wriggling around trying to escape.
Ytlear takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Ytlear keeps control of the position as Man tries to break free.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man is trying to stand back up. Ytlear tries to keep control of the position but Man is staying busy. Ytlear is trying to stick to Man's back but Man is turning into Ytlear. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Ytlear's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Man. Ytlear working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Man doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Man manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Man thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Man drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Man seems to have locked his on tight now - Ytlear screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Man, as he picks up the win!
