The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Cannon counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kelly won't be happy with that.
Cannon is looking to take a break and control but Kelly is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kelly is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Cannon asserts his dominance and retains side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cannon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Cannon postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Kelly in real trouble here! The ref calls for Kelly to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
