PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Takeo Manabu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Moss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manabu kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Heavy Metal is my Way by Metalucifer. Billy Moss will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moss tries to clinch up.
Moss tries to clinch up but Manabu circles away and keeps his distance.
Moss shoots for a double leg takedown but Manabu sprawls well. He's pushed Moss's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Moss is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Moss tries to clinch but Manabu moves out of range.
Moss throws a series of punches but Manabu moves out of range.
Moss misses with an uppercut.
Moss looks to land a combination but Manabu avoids it well.

Moss closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Manabu is trying to maintain the position but Moss is very close to passing his half guard.
Moss looks to land a strike but Manabu avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Manabu manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Moss wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Manabu avoids the attempt from Moss to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moss might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Manabu kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Moss tries to buck Manabu off but Manabu takes his back!
Manabu is not going to allow Moss to sit and survive in this position.
Moss looks gassed!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Moss is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Moss is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Manabu off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Manabu has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Moss is defending well but eventually Manabu manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Moss has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
