Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marvin Hagler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyo Kawajiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyo Kawajiri told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hagler checks a leg kick.
Kawajiri defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hagler.
Some wild striking there from Kawajiri.
Hagler showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kawajiri.
Kawajiri fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kawajiri scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Hagler misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kawajiri pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hagler is out of range and Kawajiri settles back down.
Kawajiri throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Kawajiri avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hagler tries to clinch but Kawajiri moves out of range.
Hagler misses with a jab to the body
and Kawajiri counters with a nice right hand that sends Hagler toppling to the canvas! Hagler scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kawajiri finish him?!
Hagler is rocked!
It looks like Marvin Hagler has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kawajiri motions for Hagler to come forward. Kawajiri throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Oh Hagler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kawajiri lands with a right and another and another! Hagler is in big trouble! Kawajiri lands again and this time it's lights out for Hagler! A quality knockout there for Kawajiri.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kyo Kawajiri!
