Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dana White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edson de Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). de Souza comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Make Em Say Uhh kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
de Souza pushes White away with a front kick.
White throws a body punch but de Souza moves out of range.
A punch combination from White misses.
de Souza steps to the side to avoid the strikes from White.
White lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but de Souza circles away quickly and effectively.

White throws out a loose jab but de Souza uses good head movement to avoid it.
de Souza throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. White was covering up waiting for the punch and de Souza finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
White thows a left - swing and a miss!
White stuns de Souza with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

White swings for the body but de Souza moves out of range.
White throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

White tries to break free but de Souza pushes him back against the cage.

de Souza has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but White can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
White would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
de Souza is trying to keep White in close.
de Souza escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. White gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

White knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for de Souza on the ground.
de Souza is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and White defends well.
White stands up and waves to de Souza to follow him.

White throws a nice looking combination but de Souza bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Dana White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
White breaks de Souza's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

de Souza is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. White is aware though and is defending well.
de Souza has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. White is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for de Souza.
White tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
de Souza is looking for a sweep.
White decides to take the fight back to the feet.
White stalks de Souza and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into de Souza's face. de Souza staggers backwards, shaken.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dana White will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Edson de Souza's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
White throws an overhand right that lands on de Souza's shoulder, as de Souza tries to avoid the shot.
de Souza shoots for a double leg takedown but White sprawls well. He's pushed de Souza's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A looping hook to the body misses from White. de Souza does a little dance to reset his feet.

White lands with a shot to the body.
de Souza gets in close and instigates a clinch.
White dodges an elbow strike from de Souza.
White fails to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
de Souza changes levels and goes for a takedown here. White fights it off and pushes away nicely.
White misses with a series of wild punches.

White tries to lock up and control but de Souza gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

de Souza has control of White's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and White regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Poor strikes thrown by de Souza there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

White wants to control but de Souza is having none of it.
White wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by de Souza.

White is desperately trying to improve his position but de Souza has a good base and remains in mount.
de Souza wants to finish this one by submission but White is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from de Souza.

Edson de Souza comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think de Souza has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
