Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lykki Core (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ebashir Vkashu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ebashir Vkashu will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lykki Core! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ebashir Vkashu! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Valeri Chadov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vkashu throws a big shot that misses. Vkashu gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Core to score an easy takedown into full guard. Core stands up and waves to Vkashu to follow him. Core shoots for a takedown but Vkashu saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Vkashu throws a hook to the side of Core's head but Core sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Vkashu looks to throw the jab but Core is out of range. Core shoots for a double leg takedown but Vkashu sprawls well. He's pushed Core's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Core tries a low kick but Vkashu avoids it. Vkashu looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Vkashu connects with a jab.
It looks like Lykki Core has been cut. Core staying out of range there. Core throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vkashu missing with a left hand there. Core was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Core fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Vkashu, pushing him back against the cage. Core looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lykki Core. That's going to take a lot out of him. Core is breathing heavily. Vkashu can't break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Core is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Vkashu gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Core has Vkashu pressed against the cage, preventing Vkashu from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Core is trying to drag Vkashu to the mat but Vkashu just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Vkashu tries to break the clinch but Core is controlling the position. Core keeps control of Vkashu as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Vkashu wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Core is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Core looking for a takedown. Vkashu wants to break the clinch but can't.
Core has Vkashu pressed against the cage, preventing Vkashu from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Vkashu wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Vkashu paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Vkashu throws a jab when Core was well out of range. A lazy left from Vkashu finds it's target. Ebashir Vkashu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Vkashu uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice shot by Vkashu.
Lykki Core's cut is getting worse. Core takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Core seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Vkashu shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Core is backing up but Vkashu catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Core covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Vkashu Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ebashir Vkashu!
