Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Parga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flensvald Tjitsteuvfehl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parga misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Parga takes one to the side of the head.
Parga throws a jab but it's blocked by Tjitsteuvfehl.
Tjitsteuvfehl misses with a few strikes there.
Parga steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tjitsteuvfehl.
Parga bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tjitsteuvfehl lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Parga gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Parga throws a combination that misses
and Tjitsteuvfehl counters with a straight right hand.
Parga shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Tjitsteuvfehl counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Parga got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tjitsteuvfehl has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Parga has managed to get both his arms back between Tjitsteuvfehl's legs - danger averted.

Parga has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Parga wants to control from the top but Tjitsteuvfehl keeps moving.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Parga accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Parga wants to get up but he can't break Tjitsteuvfehl's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Parga wants to control from the top but Tjitsteuvfehl keeps moving.
Tjitsteuvfehl can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Parga controls the pace.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tjitsteuvfehl uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Parga has time to react.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rodrigo Parga.
Well Tjitsteuvfehl has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
