The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vadokowich throws a series of punches but Franklin moves out of range.

Vadim Vadokowich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Franklin.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vadokowich tries to bum rush Franklin with a series of wild strikes but Franklin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Vadim Vadokowich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Vadokowich has cracked Franklin with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Vadokowich lands another huge swinging hook and Franklin tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Franklin, before Vadokowich can land any more shots!
