Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Hatcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcus Reed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tommy Hatcher! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed misses with a hook. Hatcher pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Reed scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Reed throws the left hand but Hatcher avoids the punch easily. Hatcher feints and as Reed raises his hands in defense, Hatcher changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Reed is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hatcher is controlling him. Hatcher wants to control from the top but Reed keeps moving. Reed wants to get back to his feet but Hatcher is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Hatcher is working Reed over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Reed wants to stand up but Hatcher is controlling him. Hatcher throwing strikes but missing. Reed on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Reed tries to get out of the position. Hatcher trying to stand up but can't free himself from Reed's guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Reed with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hatcher closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Hatcher slips a nice elbow through Reed's hands, connecting with Reed's forehead. Reed pushes Hatcher off looking to stand but Hatcher dives back in and keeps control.
Reed is breathing heavily. Reed trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Hatcher looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Hatcher decides to stand and escape the position. Hatcher closes the distance and clinches up with Reed, looking for a takedown. Hatcher pushes Reed against the ropes but Reed circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Hatcher shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Reed is trying to stand up here but Hatcher is controlling him well. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Hatcher lands strikes from half guard. Hatcher lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hatcher wants to take a breather but Reed is having none of it. Reed wants to get back to his feet.

Hatcher seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Hatcher works his foot free and advances to mount. Reed is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Hatcher cracks Reed with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reed is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Hatcher lands a nice shot to the head. Hatcher postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Reed looks a forlorn figure.
Hatcher is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Reed is forced to tap! Great finish!
