Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jay Z (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Prager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Z comes to the cage accompanied by New York. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Peter Prager! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Z fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Z avoids a punch combination nicely.
Prager shoots and misses and Z counters with a single leg into guard. Prager didn't expect that. Z passes into half guard. Z moves into full mount! Prager won't be happy about that! Z takes Prager's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Prager is in trouble. Prager looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Z working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Z is persistently looking for the submission but Prager is defending it well.

Prager is trying to get back to his feet but Z has full control of the position and if anything, Prager has just worked his way into a worse spot. Z is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Prager has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Prager is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Z has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Prager has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Prager remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Z will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Prager defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

Z shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Prager napping and manages to drive through into side control! Z thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Prager is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Z asserts his dominance and retains side control. Z tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Z working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Prager is trying to buck Z off. Z is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Prager can do to turn this around?
That's one minute gone in the round. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Prager can do anything to dispel that myth. Z is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Prager has escaped the position, nice work there. Z tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Z has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Prager wants to get back to his feet but Z drags him back down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Prager really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Z. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Z is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Prager knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Prager is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Z is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Prager has escaped the position, nice work there. Z with a poor takedown and Prager counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Z thinking. Z tries to clinch but Prager is having none of it. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Z. Prager throws a left and a right that both miss
and Z counters with a shoot takedown. Prager fights it but they end up in guard. Prager keeping full guard, as Z tries to pass. Prager wriggles free and stands up. Z tries to keep at a distance but Prager has taken the fight into the clinch. Z pulls guard. Prager landing with the ground and pound. Prager wants to stand but Z is controlling his posture from full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Prager accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Prager tries to stand but Z is controlling from the bottom. Z escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Prager gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Prager is in close to Z's body, working some short punches and elbows. Prager trying to control but Z is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prager working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Prager wants to stand but Z has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Z working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Prager doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Prager manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Prager stopping the sweep attempt from Z. Prager postures up in Z's guard and throws a big left but Z blocks it. Jay Z overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Z looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Prager keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Z's head. Prager tries to stand but Z is controlling from the bottom. Prager is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Z looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prager lands a couple of decent looking shots. Z working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Prager doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Prager manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Z manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Prager manages to get himself to full guard.
Z passes Prager's left leg - he's now in half guard. Z trying to pass the guard but Prager defending well. Prager tries to kick Z off but Z keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Z works his foot free and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Z landing strikes from the mount. Z is working for a guillotine from mount but Prager frees his head quite easily.
Prager is trying to stand up. Peter Prager has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Z is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Prager is surviving well by controlling Z's body position as best he can. Prager throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Prager wants to try and get back to his feet. Prager swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
And that's the end of the fight! Jay Z showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Z, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
