Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Davids (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Bell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Davids! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mauricio Bell! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell fails in his attempt to clinch. Davids clinches with his opponent.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Davids. Bell tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Davids prevents a body shot from Bell. Bell wants to get back to striking at distance but Davids won't allow it.
Davids manages to pull guard.
Bell trying to control but Davids is working from the bottom. Bell working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Davids trying to keep a closed guard but Bell is proving a slippery customer.
Davids avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bell gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Davids looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bell is fending him off so far but Davids persists. Nope, Bell circles away and we're back to standing. Davids has managed to clinch.
A left hand lands to the body for Bell.
Bell swings wildly with an uppercut but Davids uses good head movement to avoid it. Bell trying to control the position but instead, Davids has worked for underhooks and has pushed Bell into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bell looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Davids escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Davids shoots in but no luck this time. Davids scores a takedown into full mount! Davids prevents Bell from getting the reversal. Bell tries to hold on but Davids postures up. Bell is looking to improve his position but Davids isn't that keen on the idea. Bell throwing hammer fists to the chest of Davids. What's that going to do exactly? Bell is trying to stand. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davids wants to control the pace but Bell is squirming around nicely. Davids is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bell is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Bell keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Davids landing strikes from the mount. Davids goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Bell turns into him and now he's in Davids's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bell is pushing down on Davids's leg trying to pass to half guard. Davids is fighting to maintain full guard but Bell has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bell throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Davids is refusing to be controlled, as Bell sits in half guard. Bell scoring with strikes to the body and head. Davids knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bell on the ground. Bell is figuring out what he wants to do next. Bell drops an elbow to the side of Davids's head. Davids is refusing to be controlled, as Bell sits in half guard. Davids is looking to control Bell's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Davids avoid being mounted?
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bell has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Davids defend it? Bell steps over the head and cranks it - Davids is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bell!
