Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Takeshi Miyamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Killem Quick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quick has chosen Ready, Able as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeshi Miyamoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Killem Quick! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quick shoots for a takedown but Miyamoto saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Quick rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Miyamoto moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Quick fails with an attempt to clinch.
Quick misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Miyamoto.
Miyamoto tries to clinch but Quick moves away enabling Quick to counter with a crisp jab. Miyamoto misses with a shot to the body and Quick counters with a nice uppercut. Nice straight punches there by Quick. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Quick. Quick is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Miyamoto lands a really nice looking cross but Quick seems unphased.

and Quick counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Miyamoto throws a hook but Quick blocks it. Miyamoto misses with a takedown attempt and Quick counters with a straight punch to the midsection. A jab from Miyamoto finds it's way through Quick's defenses. Miyamoto looks to land a left hand but Quick moved out of range nicely. Miyamoto closes the distance looking to clinch and Quick counters with a stiff right hand. A big right from Quick misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quick tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Miyamoto darts in trying to clinch and Quick counters with a left to the body. Miyamoto on the wrong end of a nice jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Quick moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Miyamoto uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Quick. Miyamoto swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

That's three minutes gone in the round. Quick staying out of range there. Quick forces Miyamoto back against the cage and clinches. Quick's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Quick throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Quick shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Miyamoto sprawls well. Miyamoto wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Quick gets slowly back to his feet. Quick keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Takeshi Miyamoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miyamoto with a lazy takedown attempt and Quick counters with a stiff right hand. Quick connects with the punch. Quick misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Takeshi Miyamoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Killem Quick.

He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Miyamoto catches Quick with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Quick scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Quick staying out of range there. The fighters circling - Miyamoto throws out the jab but it was never going to land. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Miyamoto uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Quick. Quick has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Miyamoto wants to clinch but Quick slips to the side and Quick counters with a stiff right hand. Miyamoto looks to land a combination but Quick avoids it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Quick fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Miyamoto on the side of the head. Quick ducks under a wild hook from Miyamoto. Quick takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Killem Quick seems to be getting the better of the standup. Quick displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Miyamoto throws out the jab. Quick gets caught flat footed, as Miyamoto shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Miyamoto postures up in Quick's guard and throws a big left but Quick blocks it. Miyamoto chips away with some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quick keeping full guard, as Miyamoto tries to pass. Quick is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Miyamoto is controlling him. Miyamoto in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Quick tries to land a sweep but no joy. Quick preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Miyamoto throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Quick wants to stand but Miyamoto is controlling the position. Miyamoto trying to control the position from guard on top but Quick is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Miyamoto misses with a body shot
and Quick counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Miyamoto tries for a takedown but Quick circles away easily and Quick counters with a lovely straight right hand! Miyamoto missing with a left hand there. Quick was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Quick works the jab nicely. Miyamoto scores with a punch to the head. Miyamoto looks to land a right hand but Quick moved out of range. Miyamoto closes the distance but Quick moves to the side and Quick counters with a lovely shot to the body. Quick misses with a wild body shot. Quick misses with a looping left.

Miyamoto regains half guard. Miyamoto slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Quick got a little sloppy there for a moment and Miyamoto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Quick has managed to get both his arms back between Miyamoto's legs - danger averted. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Miyamoto trying to control the position.

Killem Quick showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
No joy there for Quick, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Quick lands a glancing blow to the side of Miyamoto's head. Miyamoto tries to keep at a distance but Quick has taken the fight into the clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Quick - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Miyamoto tries to pull guard but Quick holds him up against the cage and eventually Miyamoto drops back down to his feet.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Takeshi Miyamoto. That's going to take a lot out of him. Miyamoto decides to pull guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miyamoto is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Miyamoto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Quick gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Miyamoto looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Quick trying to control the position from guard on top but Miyamoto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Quick postures up.

Takeshi Miyamoto has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Miyamoto throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
