Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ndemi Abasi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, JJ Steel!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Anthony Taglia and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abasi tries to clinch but Steel is having none of it.
Ndemi Abasi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Abasi lands a front kick.
Abasi tries to clinch up.
Steel is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Abasi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Abasi tries to clinch but Steel is having none of it.
Abasi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Steel paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Abasi lands with a nice body kick.
Abasi fails with an attempt to clinch.
Abasi is looking to clinch but Steel is avoiding it.
Abasi moves into the clinch.

A knee to the head by Abasi.
It looks like JJ Steel has been cut.

Steel looks gassed!
Steel tries to pull guard but Abasi won't allow it.
Steel takes a knee right on the jaw!
Abasi with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Abasi utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Abasi breaks from the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A head kick lands from Abasi that sends Steel to the canvas. Steel tries to scramble back to his feet but Abasi brings him back down into side control.
Steel is rocked!
That has opened up JJ Steel's cut even more.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Abasi has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Steel is still on wobbly legs! Can Abasi finish him?
Abasi lands a brutal head kick. Steel looks out on his feet and Abasi throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
