Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kegan Williamson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kegan Williamson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Johnson! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williamson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Johnson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Williamson defends it nicely. Williamson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Johnson momentarily.
It looks like Jay Johnson has been cut. Williamson stuffs the takedown. Nice sprawl there from Williamson as Johnson shoots in. Kegan Williamson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Johnson. Williamson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johnson. Johnson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Williamson sprawls well. Williamson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Johnson gets slowly back to his feet. Williamson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Johnson looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Williamson lands a nice looking body shot.

and Williamson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Williamson throws a right hand that Johnson ducks under and follows up with a left that Johnson also avoids with ease. Williamson tries a head kick but it misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Williamson is fending him off so far but Johnson persists. Nope, Williamson circles away and we're back to standing. Johnson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Jay Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williamson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A punch lands to the side of Johnson 's head but he takes it in his stride. Williamson stuffs the takedown. Williamson throws a nice looking combination but Johnson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Williamson misses the shot to the body. Johnson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Williamson is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Johnson. Williamson throws a nice head kick!
That has opened up Jay Johnson's cut even more. Williamson misses with a body shot.
Williamson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Johnson. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Williamson lands a right hook to the body.
Williamson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Williamson throws a head kick that Johnson semi-blocks.
Williamson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Johnson manages to avoid it. Williamson scores with a body shot.
Johnson fails with a takedown attempt. Williamson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson with a poor takedown and Williamson counters with a right hand to the body. Williamson scores with a jab to the jaw. Williamson connects with a high kick. Nice body punch from Williamson. Williamson lands a jab-cross combination. Williamson tries a head kick but it misses.
Johnson gets a takedown into half guard. Johnson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Johnson is looking for a kimura but Williamson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Johnson to get the leverage.

Williamson tries to roll over but Johnson keeps him under control. Williamson is defending against the submission attempts here by Johnson.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Williamson tries to get to full guard but Johnson has control of the leg. Williamson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Williamson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Johnson stopping the sweep attempt from Williamson.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Johnson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Johnson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Johnson working for a guillotine from mount but Williamson is in no mood to give up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Johnson has hold of Williamson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Williamson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Johnson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Williamson is now in Johnson's guard. A big mistake from Johnson there, giving up the dominant position! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kegan Williamson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jay Johnson's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Williamson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Johnson closes the distance and clinches up with Williamson, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes Williamson against the cage but Williamson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Johnson is defended easily by Williamson. Nice sprawl there from Williamson as Johnson shoots in. Kegan Williamson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Johnson. Johnson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Williamson throws a shot from downtown. Johnson moves away and avoids it. Williamson feints and then cracks Johnson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Johnson down. Kegan Williamson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Williamson takes a swing at Johnson's ribcage but misses. Williamson throws a combination. Johnson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The cut above Jay Johnson's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Williamson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Williamson lands with a slapping head kick. Williamson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Johnson can do to turn this around? Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Williamson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Johnson fails with a takedown attempt. Nice shot lands for Williamson. Williamson throws a head kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Williamson pinned against the cage. Williamson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Johnson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jay Johnson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Williamson throws a head kick that misses. Williamson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Williamson works over Johnson's head and body with a nice combination. Johnson thows a left - swing and a miss! Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Williamson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Williamson throws a combination. Johnson tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Williamson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Johnson moves away. Johnson fails with a takedown attempt. Williamson thows a body shot but no joy. Williamson throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williamson misses the shot to the body. Williamson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Johnson doesn't seem bothered though. Johnson misses with a takedown attempt and Williamson counters with a two punch combo.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jay Johnson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Kegan Williamson!
