Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raffer Steele! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bubba Dummy! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dummy clinches with his opponent.
Dummy manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Steele throws a knee to the head but misses.
A bit of stalling here from Dummy.
Dummy misses with a hook to the ribs.
Dummy jumps guard but Steele stands there with Dummy around his waist. Dummy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Dummy wants to break free but Steele has control.
Dummy tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Steele trying to land knees to the body.
Steele letting Dummy take a breather here. Dummy avoiding damage as Steele throws knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Steele misses with a short punch on the inside. Steele gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dummy.
Raffer Steele has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bubba Dummy. Steele throws a knee to the head but misses.
Dummy has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Steele is trying to keep an underhook but Dummy manages to get the takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Steele has a hand on Dummy's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Dummy takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Steele on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Steele tries to get out of the position. Dummy with good strikes from the mount here! Dummy avoids the attempt from Steele to control. Steele is trying to escape the mount.
Dummy pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
It looks like Raffer Steele has been cut. Steele can't escape the position.
Steele is working hard here to advance position. Dummy looking to finish with strikes here!
Dummy lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Raffer Steele's cut is getting worse.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Steele working to try and regain half guard.
Steele has left one of his arms exposed and Dummy doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Steele screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
