7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Peter North! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! North doesn't manage to clinch there - Sobchak circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round. A big head kick from Sobchak and North is sent sprawling to the canvas! Sobchak wants to control from the top but North keeps moving. Sobchak tries to free his leg and advance position but North is retaining full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if North can do anything to dispel that myth. Sobchak content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Sobchak stays in close to North's body and controls the position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sobchak trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sobchak with a flurry of punches that miss. Sobchak missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. North working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sobchak . Sobchak throwing strikes but missing. North really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sobchak . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Sobchak trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sobchak thows a big elbow that misses.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. North tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sobchak paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sobchak misses with a few strikes there.

Jeff Sobchak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The cut above Peter North's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Sobchak is looking to wear down North with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Sobchak scores with a jab.
Peter North's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Sobchak scoring well with a low kick there.
North takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Sobchak looks to land a combination but North avoids it well. Sobchak lands with a cross.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Peter North's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
