Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cruz Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clarke darts in and clinches Gunn up against the cage. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Gunn breaks from the clinch.
Nice shot lands for Clarke. Gunn pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Clarke. A combination from Gunn does no damage. Gunn clinches but Clarke breaks the clinch so Clarke counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Clarke is stalling in the full guard. Clarke wanted to stand there but Gunn had control of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clarke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gunn swivels though and keeps the full guard. Clarke trying to control the position from guard on top but Gunn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Clarke trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Gunn keeping moving, preventing Clarke from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Gunn is pulling down on Clarke's head. It's preventing any offense from Clarke, at least for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Gunn throws a head kick that misses. Gunn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Clarke looks to land a combination. Gunn sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Jake Gunn has been cut. Gunn throws a head kick that misses and Clarke counters with a shoot takedown. Gunn fights it but they end up in guard. Clarke wants to control from the top but Gunn keeps moving. Clarke is really struggling to control Gunn but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gunn pulls Clarke in close to prevent any damage. Gunn wants to stand and escape but Clarke is having none of it. Gunn looks gassed! Gunn is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Clarke wants to control from the top but Gunn keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Clarke slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Clarke makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Clarke trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cruz Clarke dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jake Gunn's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Clarke shoots in for a takedown but Gunn shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Gunn tries to clinch up. Gunn throws a lazy head kick and Clarke counters with a shoot takedown. Gunn fights it but they end up in guard. Clarke keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Gunn's head. Clarke is pushing down on Gunn's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gunn is fighting to maintain full guard but Clarke has managed to sneak the leg through. Clarke is trying to control. Gunn wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Clarke wants to stand up but Gunn is controlling the position.
Gunn controlling the position well. Clarke content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Gunn is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clarke's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gunn wants to improve his position but Clarke is controlling well.
Clarke trying to control the action but Gunn is working from the bottom. Gunn looks like he's trying to stand up.
Still in half guard, Clarke seems content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clarke wants to stand up but Gunn has a hold of him and won't allow it. Clarke slows the pace down in half guard. Gunn tries to get to full guard but Clarke has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Gunn is not content to let Clarke control the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gunn, right into the meat.
Clarke dives in and grabs Gunn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gunn pushes down on Clarke's head and hops out. Gunn is looking to clinch but Clarke is avoiding it.
Clarke fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cruz Clarke. That's going to take a lot out of him. Clarke moves away from the strike by Gunn. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gunn checks a low kick from Clarke. Gunn lands a nice hook to Clarke's body. Clarke takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Clarke blocks the body kick.
Gunn tries a head kick but it misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cruz Clarke dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Jake Gunn's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Clarke looks for a takedown but Gunn sprawls well. Clarke shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gunn sprawls well. Gunn wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Clarke gets slowly back to his feet. Gunn fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Clarke, pushing him back against the cage. Gunn wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Clarke tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gunn smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cruz Clarke. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gunn throws a leg kick which misses Clarke's front leg but catches the back leg as Clarke tries to avoid it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Nice sprawl there from Gunn as Clarke shoots in. Horrible takedown by Clarke or perhaps it was just good defense by Gunn which made him look bad. Gunn scores with a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gunn wants to clinch but Clarke slips to the side and Clarke counters with a takedown into side control. Gunn is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now. Gunn can't do much from the bottom here. Clarke trying to control the action but Gunn is working from the bottom. Gunn tries to control but Clarke manages to take his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gunn is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Clarke.
Gunn turns into Clarke and is now in his guard.
Gunn controls from within his opponent's guard. Gunn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Clarke is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clarke trying to control the position here. Clarke working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gunn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gunn manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gunn is stalling in the full guard. Clarke is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Gunn wants to stand but Clarke is controlling his posture from full guard. Gunn with a flurry of punches that miss. Clarke is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Gunn tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Clarke tries to clinch up but Gunn circles away and keeps his distance. Jake Gunn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cruz Clarke is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gunn throws a head kick but Clarke moves out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jake Gunn. I think Clarke has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
