Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyrone Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rice Pilaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pilaf comes into a darkened arena with his song building. chinese rap kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rice Pilaf has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tyrone Edwards's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rice Pilaf!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards throws a series of punches but Pilaf avoids them all with ease.
Pilaf uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Edwards.
Edwards fails with the takedown.
Edwards tries to clinch there but Pilaf circles away.
Pilaf slips a jab from Edwards.
Edwards lands a really nice looking cross but Pilaf seems unphased.
Edwards fails to land with a series of punches.
Pilaf tries to clinch but Edwards is having none of it.
Edwards shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pilaf pinned against the cage. Pilaf gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Edwards clinches but Pilaf breaks the clinch
and Pilaf counters with a straight right hand.
Pilaf closes the distance looking to clinch
and Edwards decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pilaf's guard.
Edwards throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Edwards has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Edwards slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Edwards trying to control the position from guard on top but Pilaf is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Edwards is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pilaf is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Edwards looking to sit in guard and control but Pilaf gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Edwards had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pilaf defends it easily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Pilaf trying to control but Edwards is working from the bottom.
Edwards working for submissions but it's allowed Pilaf to get to half guard.
Pilaf tries to pass the half guard into mount. Edwards knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Edwards gets full guard.
Edwards looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Pilaf has picked Edwards up and slammed him! Edwards can't keep hold of the triangle and Pilaf manages to pass to side control!

Pilaf content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Pilaf wants to lay and pray for a moment but Edwards keeps working.
Pilaf wants to stand but Edwards has his arm trapped.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Edwards tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Pilaf misses with an uppercut. Edwards saw that one coming.
Pilaf digs a good hook to Edwards's body.
Pilaf scores with a jab. Edwards acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Pilaf slips under a jab from Edwards.
Edwards connects with a body shot.
Pilaf tries to score with a low kick but Edwards moves his leg out of the way.
Edwards misses with a double jab
enabling Pilaf to counter with a crisp jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tyrone Edwards will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Pilaf lands a nice shot that snaps Edwards's head back.
Edwards wants to clinch but Pilaf slips to the side
and Pilaf counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Edwards throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pilaf sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Pilaf is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Edwards throws a body punch but Pilaf moves out of range.
Edwards throws a hook but Pilaf blocks it.
Edwards misses with a telegraphed body shot
enabling Pilaf to counter with a crisp jab.
