Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Ferrari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rex Apollo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferrari comes to the cage accompanied by Single Ladies - Brazilian Version. Apollo has chosen My Bloody Valentine - Loomer as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rex Apollo!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferrari showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Apollo.
Ferrari avoids the head kick by Apollo.
Apollo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ferrari.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ferrari.
Ferrari throws a sloppy head kick and Apollo moves out of range easily.
Ferrari throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Apollo's head.
It looks like Rex Apollo has been cut.
Apollo throws a hook to the side of Ferrari's head but Ferrari sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Apollo misses with a wild body shot.
Apollo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ferrari circles away.
Apollo takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Ferrari lands a head kick. Apollo smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Ferrari explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Apollo misses with a two punch combination.
Ferrari bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Ferrari lands a front kick.
Apollo looks gassed!
A combination from Apollo does no damage.
Ferrari connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ferrari scores with a push kick.
A solid body kick from Ferrari.
Ferrari goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Good leg kick by Ferrari there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ferrari lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Ferrari throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Ferrari scores with a kick to the body.
Ferrari lands a big head kick that sends Apollo tumbling to the mat! Ferrari takes a step backwards and waves Apollo back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Apollo is rocked!
A head kick by Ferrari - that's a beauty! Apollo is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Ferrari can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Marcus Ferrari!
