Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Flea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Gruber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gruber has chosen Irwin Goodman - St. Pauli Ja Reeperbahn as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gruber throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Gruber lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

drops Gruber with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gruber looks back up at him and smiles so waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

finds Gruber's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Gruber flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Gruber will be OK.
