Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sal Gorchev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sal Gorchev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Travis Miller!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miller darts in and clinches Gorchev up against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Gorchev takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Miller breaks the clinch.
Some wild striking there from Miller.
Miller shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gorchev but Gorchev pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gorchev circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Miller. No joy for Gorchev on that attempt.

Gorchev bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Miller is trying to improve his position.

Miller reaches up to try and control the position but Gorchev seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Miller rolls and tries to escape and now Gorchev has his back!
Gorchev thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Gorchev's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Miller can't escape the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Gorchev is riding his opponent, not letting Miller buck him off.
Gorchev's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Miller tries to escape but Gorchev has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Gorchev looking to break Miller's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Miller remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Gorchev will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Miller wants to control but Gorchev is having none of it.
Gorchev really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Gorchev looking to control but Miller is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Miller tries to reverse the position but Gorchev maintains control.

Gorchev is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Miller is surviving well by controlling Gorchev's body position as best he can.
Miller is looking to improve his position but Gorchev isn't that keen on the idea.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Gorchev changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Miller looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Gorchev is keen to just control but Miller is a slippery customer.
Gorchev looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Miller with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Miller scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Gorchev manages to mount him!

Miller kicks off Gorchev and gets to his feet.

Miller shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gorchev's guard.
Gorchev will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Gorchev is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Gorchev pushes Miller off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Miller is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Gorchev keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Miller gets to his feet. Gorchev looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Gorchev shoots in looking for a takedown. Miller tries to sprawl out of it but Gorchev keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Miller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gorchev has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Miller content to control rather than advance.
Miller wants to stand up but Gorchev has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Gorchev is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Miller pulls his head out easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Miller lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Gorchev tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Miller wants to clinch

Gorchev shoots in for a double leg but Miller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Gorchev cracks Miller with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Gorchev wants to control the pace but Miller is squirming around nicely.
Gorchev connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Miller is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A nice elbow there by Gorchev.
Miller is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Travis Miller has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

I would just about give that final round to Travis Miller.
