Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dwight Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noel Contemprato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grant's entrance music is Beanie (Mack B****). A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant tries to score a power double leg takedown but Contemprato sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Grant somewhat.
Grant tries to clinch there but Contemprato circles away.
Contemprato gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Grant trying to control the position from guard on top but Contemprato is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Grant throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Contemprato works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Grant trying to control but Contemprato is working from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Grant accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Contemprato looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Contemprato keeping moving, preventing Grant from controlling successfully.
Grant throws a strike but Contemprato rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Contemprato must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Grant has his hands on Contemprato's head, controlling the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Grant throws a low kick but it's checked well by Contemprato.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Grant shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Contemprato but Contemprato pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Contemprato scores with a jab to the body.
Grant tries to clinch but Contemprato moves out of range.
Contemprato circles away from the clinch attempt.
Grant fails with an attempt to clinch.
Contemprato lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Grant is looking to chop away at Contemprato's legs.
Contemprato lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Grant is rocked!
Contemprato connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Grant to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Contemprato!
