Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Stglitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Hasselhof (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stglitz's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Godsmack Awake. Hasselhof has chosen Nas - Hate me now as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hugo Stglitz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Hasselhof! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hasselhof fails with the takedown. Hasselhof gets the takedown into side control. Hasselhof misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Stglitz is looking to regain half guard here but Hasselhof keeps moving and retains side control. Stglitz is trying to control Hasselhof's posture but Hasselhof avoids it. Hasselhof working the head with strikes. Stglitz is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Stglitz keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Hasselhof thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hasselhof seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stglitz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Hasselhof is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stglitz sees it coming and defends easily. Hasselhof seems to be working for a kimura but Stglitz defends the submission attempt. Hasselhof is looking for a kimura here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hasselhof drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stglitz manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hasselhof has Stglitz in his guard. Hasselhof looking for a guillotine here but Stglitz defends easily.
Hasselhof controls Stglitz momentarily but Stglitz frees himself. Stglitz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hasselhof is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Stglitz, into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hasselhof drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Stglitz dives on top into guard. Stglitz drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hasselhof manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Stglitz has Hasselhof in his guard. Hasselhof postures up in Stglitz's guard and throws a big left but Stglitz blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hasselhof controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Stglitz is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hasselhof is controlling him. Hasselhof throws a big right hand that misses. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stglitz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hasselhof can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hasselhof stops Stglitz from standing up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Hasselhof dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Stglitz moves in looking to clinch but Hasselhof pushes him off. Stglitz tries to clinch but Hasselhof is having none of it. Hasselhof looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Stglitz! Hasselhof looking to control but Stglitz is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Stglitz tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hasselhof landing punches. Stglitz taking shots to the head. Hasselhof is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Stglitz can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Hasselhof has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hasselhof lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Stglitz is looking to improve his position but Hasselhof isn't that keen on the idea. Hasselhof with shots to the head and body - Stglitz looks very uncomfortable down there. Stglitz wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hasselhof.
Hasselhof blocks Stglitz's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Stglitz keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Stglitz is working hard here to advance position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hasselhof lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Hasselhof unloading with bombs! Hasselhof with shots to the head and body - Stglitz looks very uncomfortable down there. Hasselhof tries to control but Stglitz wriggling away. Hasselhof with good strikes from the mount here! Stglitz is working to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hasselhof lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Stglitz hang on? Hasselhof can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Stglitz is looking to escape. Hasselhof avoids the attempt from Stglitz to control. Hasselhof looking to secure an arm triangle but Stglitz defends it well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Stglitz tries to hold on but Hasselhof postures up. Stglitz really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

David Hasselhof showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Hasselhof closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Hasselhof tries to advance to mount but Stglitz denies him. Hasselhof looking to control but instead Stglitz has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Hasselhof throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Hasselhof is working for an americana but Stglitz has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Hasselhof was thinking about the submission. Stglitz keeping moving, preventing Hasselhof from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stglitz striking off his back but it's not causing Hasselhof any problems. Stglitz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Stglitz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hasselhof makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Stglitz wants to sweep but no luck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Stglitz is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hasselhof has gone for a leg lock! Stglitz slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hasselhof's guard. Hasselhof is trying to control the position but Stglitz postures up. Stglitz throws a strike but Hasselhof rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Stglitz wants to stand and escape but Hasselhof is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stglitz has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Hasselhof has passed into side control.
Hasselhof is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Stglitz has escaped the position, nice work there. David Hasselhof is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Stglitz is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Hasselhof wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stglitz keeps working. Hasselhof lands an elbow.
