Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between boo moo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lupercal Abaddon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). moo comes into the arena with Miles Davis - bye bye blackbird blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, boo moo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lupercal Abaddon!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abaddon cracks moo with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
moo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Abaddon throws a head kick that misses.
Abaddon throws a leg kick which misses moo's front leg but catches the back leg as moo tries to avoid it.
moo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Abaddon is fending him off so far but moo persists. Nope, Abaddon circles away and we're back to standing.
Abaddon moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
moo throws a body punch but Abaddon moves out of range.
Abaddon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
moo drops his hands momentarily and Abaddon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
moo moves out of range as Abaddon strikes.
moo is looking to clinch but Abaddon is avoiding it.

Abaddon stuffs the takedown attempt from moo. moo gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for boo moo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
moo avoids the head kick by Abaddon.
moo fails with an attempt to clinch.
moo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Abaddon tries to avoid it but moo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Abaddon to the ground. Abaddon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Abaddon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
boo moo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Abaddon. No joy for moo on that attempt.
Abaddon lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Abaddon leaves moo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Abaddon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Abaddon wants it to stay on the feet.
moo tries to clinch there but Abaddon circles away.
Both fighters circling a little - Abaddon finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Abaddon fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Abaddon throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Abaddon throws a sloppy head kick and moo moves out of range easily.

Abaddon bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of moo's head.
Abaddon changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
moo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Abaddon ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Abaddon drops moo with a straight left! Oh this is bad for moo! Abaddon dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
