The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brute misses with a double jab.
A punch combination from Brute misses.
Ortiz dives in and grabs Brute's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brute pushes down on Ortiz's head and hops out.
Brute takes a swing at Ortiz's ribcage but misses.
Brute swings for the body but Ortiz moves out of range.
Brute misses with the combination.
Ortiz fails with a takedown attempt.
Ortiz is trying hard to land a takedown here. Brute sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ryan Brute has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dimincio Ortiz.
Brute avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brute swings for the body but Ortiz moves out of range.
Ortiz on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Dimincio Ortiz has been cut.
Brute drops Ortiz with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ortiz looks back up at him and smiles so Brute waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Ortiz is rocked!
Ortiz is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Brute doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Ortiz crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Ortiz's bad books for that mishap!
