Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Serega Voron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh MaCue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Serega Voron looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Voron feints and as MaCue raises his hands in defense, Voron changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Voron is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Voron wants to pass the guard but MaCue is keeping the position.
MaCue pulls Voron in close to prevent any damage.
MaCue looking to hit a scissor sweep but Voron is one step ahead there.
Voron wanted to stand there but MaCue had control of the position.

Voron decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on MaCue, up you get!
Voron is breathing heavily.

MaCue lands a big head kick that sends Voron tumbling to the mat! MaCue takes a step backwards and waves Voron back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Serega Voron has been cut.

Voron closes the distance and pushes MaCue back into the cage.
Voron wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

MaCue escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
MaCue avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Voron shoots in looking for a takedown. MaCue tries to sprawl out of it but Voron keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. MaCue manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

MaCue closes the distance and pushes Voron back into the cage.

MaCue's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Voron is looking to control MaCue's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Voron avoid being mounted?

MaCue tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no MaCue has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

MaCue is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Voron knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

MaCue decides to stand up, so the ref orders Voron to his feet.
Serega Voron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Voron shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Voron swats away the attempt to clinch by MaCue.

and MaCue counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
MaCue's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Voron lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of MaCue backwards.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

MaCue should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

MaCue tries to break the clinch but Voron is controlling the position.

Voron has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. MaCue avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
MaCue jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Voron walks away with a smile on his face. MaCue gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

MaCue is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Voron will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Voron is trying to maintain a safe position but MaCue gets an underhook and turns Voron into the cage.

Voron had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. MaCue defends it easily.

MaCue closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

MaCue turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and MaCue manages to end up in side control.

Well MaCue has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
