The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramone takes a swing at Oliveira's ribcage but misses.
Oliveira misses with a low kick.
No joy there for Ramone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ramone blocks a low kick nicely.
A nice inside leg kick there by Oliveira. That's going to slow Ramone down.
Oliveira gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ramone.
Ramone blocks a head kick by Oliveira.
A good leg kick by Oliveira.
Oliveira steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ramone.
Ramone takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Ramone looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ramone scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

Oliveira shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Oliveira thows a huge punch but Ramone dodges it nicely.
Oliveira seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ramone does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Oliveira is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Ramone is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Oliveira passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ramone!

Oliveira goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Ramone turns into him and now he's in Oliveira's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ramone postures up in Oliveira's guard and throws a big left but Oliveira blocks it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ramone accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Ramone keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Oliveira's head.

Oliveira looking for a guillotine here but Ramone defends easily.
Ramone must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Ramone is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Oliveira has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ramone is looking to defend but Oliveira has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ramone! Oliveira pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ramone taps out and this one is all over!
