Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Renzo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vlad Kirkorvich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kirkorvich has chosen Russian Anthem as his entrance music. Renzo Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Renzo Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vlad Kirkorvich! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kirkorvich closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gracie to the mat! Gracie manages to get full guard. Gracie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kirkorvich controls the pace. Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kirkorvich defends it easily. Gracie keeping full guard, as Kirkorvich tries to pass. Kirkorvich trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom. Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kirkorvich drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kirkorvich jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kirkorvich got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kirkorvich has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted. Kirkorvich trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kirkorvich defends it easily. Kirkorvich is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Gracie is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Gracie has escaped and now he's on top! Gracie pushes down on Kirkorvich's leg and manages to get into half guard. Gracie seems to be working for a kimura but Kirkorvich defends the submission attempt. Gracie stops Kirkorvich from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Gracie is looking for a kimura but Kirkorvich is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gracie to get the leverage. Gracie trying to control from half guard but Kirkorvich is working away. Kirkorvich wants to get back to his feet.
Gracie is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Kirkorvich to slip a leg under and get back to full guard. Kirkorvich wants to control but Gracie passes easily into half guard.
Kirkorvich looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Gracie is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kirkorvich has managed to free his arm - good work. Gracie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kirkorvich doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gracie. Kirkorvich with the active half guard here but Gracie passes nicely into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kirkorvich wants to control but Gracie postures up. Gracie wants to control but Kirkorvich is keeping him busy. Gracie is trying to get an arm triangle but Kirkorvich is defending well. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kirkorvich sneaks back into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Renzo Gracie dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Gracie fails with the takedown and Kirkorvich decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Gracie's guard. Kirkorvich pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gracie is keeping the position for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Kirkorvich from controlling successfully. Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kirkorvich drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gracie looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gracie looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gracie! Kirkorvich tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Kirkorvich preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Gracie. Kirkorvich is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kirkorvich is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Gracie is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Kirkorvich has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Gracie has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Kirkorvich taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Gracie doesn't care though - he's delighted!
