Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Whos Now (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Parr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whos Now has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Whos Now! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Parr! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Now shoots in and drives through. Parr sprawls well. Parr throws a right and a left that both miss. Parr with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Now feints and as Parr raises his hands in defense, Now changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Now slips nicely into half guard. Now wants to stand but Parr has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Now missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Now stands up and beckons Parr to join him on the feet. Parr throws a looping overhand right but Now ducks down to avoid it. Parr tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Now has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Parr. Now is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A punch combination from Parr misses. Parr throws a body punch but Now moves out of range. Parr lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
A left and a right from Parr both land. Nice combination. Now avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Parr connects with a good right hand that stumbles Now. Now circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Parr lands with a nice combination. Now backs away looking to recover. Now is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Parr. Parr with a lazy takedown attempt and Now counters with a nice double leg into guard. Now stands up and waves to Parr to follow him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice combination there by Parr.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Parr wants to clinch but Now slips to the side and Now counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Parr manages to get to full guard.
Now throwing strikes but missing. Now postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Parr looking for a sweep. Not yet Parr, not yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parr is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Now is aware though and is defending well. Now gets to his feet. Parr looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Parr with a poor takedown and Now counters with a nice double leg into guard. Parr is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Parr controls Now momentarily but Now frees himself. Now missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Now missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Parr avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Now passes easily into side control. Nice work. Now lands a nice forearm strike. Now stands up. Parr tries to clinch up and Now counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Now tries to stand but Parr is controlling from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Whos Now dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Parr pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Now tries for a takedown but Parr sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. John Parr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Parr closes the distance but Now moves to the side and Now decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Parr's guard. Parr is trying to control the position but Now postures up. Now chips away with some ground and pound. Now knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Parr on the ground. Now stops Parr from standing up. Now stands up from guard. Let's bang! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Now throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Parr's waist but Parr gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Now off to one side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parr throws a series of punches but Now moves out of range. Parr clinches but Now breaks the clinch and Now counters with a single leg into guard. Parr didn't expect that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Now loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Now throws a strike but Parr rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Parr trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Parr prevents Now from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parr would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Parr trying to control but Now is working from the bottom. Now is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Now swats away the attempt to clinch by Parr.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Now fails to land the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Whos Now. That's going to take a lot out of him. Parr tries to clinch but Now moves away and Now counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Parr! Now pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Now will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Parr avoids a series of strikes thrown by Now.
Parr blocking the ground and pound. Now working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Parr slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Now lands a nice short elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Now is trying to control. Parr wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Now is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Parr is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Now is thwarting Parr's attempts to control the position. Now missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Parr darts in trying to clinch and Now counters with a takedown into side control. Parr gets back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Whos Now dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Whos Now overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Now throws a big right hand that misses. Now landing with the ground and pound. Now landing with the ground and pound. Now trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Now throws and elbow that misses. Parr uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Now's guard. Nice move by Parr! Parr won't allow Now to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parr trying to control the position from guard on top but Now is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Parr prevents Now from getting back to his feet. Parr wants to control from the top but Now keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Parr tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Now counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Now with the ground and pound but Parr uses the opportunity to regain guard. Now trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Now wants to stand but Parr is controlling his posture from full guard. Now throws and elbow that misses. Parr uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Now's guard. Nice move by Parr!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parr advances to half guard. Parr wants to take a breather but Now is having none of it. Parr is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Now pushes Parr off and gets back to his feet. Parr defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Now. Parr tries to clinch up. Now has a takedown stuffed. Whos Now is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Parr tries to clinch and Now counters with a single leg into guard. Parr didn't expect that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Now is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Parr trying to keep a closed guard but Now is proving a slippery customer.
Now looking to sit in guard and control but Parr gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Parr wants to control from the top but Now keeps moving. John Parr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Now wants to stand and escape but Parr is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! Whos Now showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Now, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
