Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between ANGEL DEVERA (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jake McFANDEN (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, ANGEL DEVERA!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, jake McFANDEN!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DEVERA shoots in for a takedown but McFANDEN shows good takedown defense.
DEVERA fails to land the takedown.
DEVERA tries to score a power double leg takedown but McFANDEN sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten DEVERA somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for ANGEL DEVERA. That's going to take a lot out of him.
DEVERA looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
McFANDEN digs a good body shot into DEVERA's ribs.
McFANDEN rushes DEVERA and presses him up against the cage.
McFANDEN goes for a takedown in the clinch but DEVERA prevents it.
McFANDEN turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and McFANDEN manages to end up in side control.
McFANDEN decides to take the fight back to the feet.
DEVERA changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McFANDEN looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
McFANDEN tries to bench press DEVERA off him but DEVERA keeps the position.
DEVERA knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McFANDEN on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McFANDEN is trying to control DEVERA's posture but DEVERA avoids it.
DEVERA trying to control the action but McFANDEN is working from the bottom.
McFANDEN pushes DEVERA away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, DEVERA gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
McFANDEN manages to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
DEVERA tries to pass to full mount but McFANDEN defends it.
DEVERA wants to take a breather but McFANDEN is having none of it.
DEVERA is just content to waste time from the top position. McFANDEN takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
McFANDEN is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
DEVERA has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
DEVERA fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
DEVERA is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
DEVERA tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and McFANDEN counters with a head kick that drops DEVERA to the mat! DEVERA scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
DEVERA is rocked!
McFANDEN shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in DEVERA's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McFANDEN lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
DEVERA keeping moving, preventing McFANDEN from controlling successfully.
McFANDEN is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
McFANDEN advances position into side control!
McFANDEN gets to mount! DEVERA was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
McFANDEN is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! DEVERA is forced to tap! Great finish!
