Stones comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I came to bring the pain! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Steve Stones has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with TONY THOMPSON's chin.

THOMPSON fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
THOMPSON could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
THOMPSON shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stones as he avoids it easily.
Stones slaps away a takedown attempt from THOMPSON, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for TONY THOMPSON. That's going to take a lot out of him.
THOMPSON shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Stones misses with some strikes from the bottom.
THOMPSON is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Stones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with THOMPSON. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Stones is defending against the submission attempts here by THOMPSON.

THOMPSON is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if THOMPSON hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
