Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Enrique Guerrero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guerrero comes to the cage accompanied by I Lie, I Cheat, I Steal. Shamrock is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Enrique Guerrero! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyler Shamrock! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guerrero misses with a low kick.
Shamrock avoids the body shot from Guerrero.
Guerrero shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Shamrock actively working from the bottom here. Guerrero is keen to just control but Shamrock is a slippery customer. Guerrero is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Shamrock is not content to let Guerrero control the position. Guerrero seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Guerrero seems to be working for a kimura but Shamrock defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shamrock has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Guerrero is working away from the top position though. Shamrock is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Guerrero's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Guerrero's back! Guerrero fending off the submission attempt from Shamrock. Shamrock is persistently looking for the submission but Guerrero is defending it well.
Shamrock is trying to stick to Guerrero's back but Guerrero is turning into Shamrock. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Shamrock's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Guerrero. Guerrero got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shamrock has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Guerrero has managed to get both his arms back between Shamrock's legs - danger averted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shamrock will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Shamrock looking for a guillotine here but Guerrero defends easily.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A slow jab from Guerrero misses its intended target. Guerrero looks to land a left hand but Shamrock moved out of range nicely. Shamrock feints and as Guerrero raises his hands in defense, Shamrock changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Shamrock is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Guerrero is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Shamrock trying to control here.
Guerrero wants to take a breather but Shamrock is having none of it. Guerrero is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Shamrock still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Shamrock has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Guerrero is trying to improve his position.

Shamrock is thwarting Guerrero's attempts to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shamrock is looking for a kimura here.

Shamrock throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Guerrero was covering up waiting for the punch and Shamrock finishes the takedown easily into guard. Shamrock uses his free foot to push down on Guerrero's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Guerrero. Guerrero tries to hold on but Shamrock postures up. Shamrock landing strikes, looking to finish! Shamrock avoids the attempt from Guerrero to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guerrero is looking to improve his position but Shamrock isn't that keen on the idea. Guerrero wants to hold on but Shamrock pushes him away. Shamrock working for a submission but Guerrero is keeping him at bay. Guerrero is working to get back to half guard.
Shamrock is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Guerrero has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Shamrock fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Guerrero in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Guerrero bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Guerrero stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shamrock swivels though and keeps the full guard. Shamrock has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Guerrero is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Shamrock. Shamrock is breathing heavily. Guerrero trying to control the action but Shamrock is working from the bottom. Guerrero misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Guerrero tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Guerrero has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Guerrero controls the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Guerrero missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Shamrock is trying to maintain the position but Guerrero is very close to passing his half guard. Guerrero is looking for a kimura but Shamrock is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Guerrero to get the leverage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Guerrero wants to clinch up but Shamrock keeps it at a distance. A slow jab from Guerrero misses its intended target. Guerrero doesn't manage to clinch there - Shamrock circles away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Shamrock fails with a takedown attempt. Shamrock shoots in and bounces Guerrero off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyler Shamrock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Shamrock is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The fighters are battling for position here. Guerrero manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Shamrock takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Shamrock avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Guerrero tries for a takedown but Shamrock circles away easily and Shamrock counters with a nice double leg into side control. Guerrero won't be happy with that. Shamrock looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Guerrero is trying to get back to half guard. Guerrero struggling a bit here.
And that's the end of the fight! Tyler Shamrock comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Shamrock winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
