Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Lacy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CANALHA JUNIOR (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lacy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Final Countdown. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
JUNIOR defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lacy.

Lacy drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
JUNIOR has his hands on Lacy's head, controlling the position.
Lacy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. JUNIOR swivels though and keeps the full guard.
JUNIOR has a closed guard, preventing Lacy from standing up.
Lacy trying to control the position from guard on top but JUNIOR is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Lacy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
JUNIOR is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
JUNIOR keeping moving, preventing Lacy from controlling successfully.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Lacy thows a big elbow that misses.
JUNIOR has a closed guard, preventing Lacy from standing up.

JUNIOR thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lacy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

JUNIOR feints and as Lacy raises his hands in defense, JUNIOR changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

JUNIOR tries to control but Lacy wriggling away.
JUNIOR is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
JUNIOR moves to the back.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Lacy has taken the fight to the clinch.
JUNIOR goes for a takedown attempt but Lacy pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Lacy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lacy shoots and misses

and JUNIOR counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lacy won't be happy with that.
JUNIOR has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

JUNIOR has isolated one of Lacy's arms. Lacy looking to fight him off but JUNIOR twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
