Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Glen Jacobs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ed Horn!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs keeps the fight on the outside.
Horn misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Jacobs moves into range and clinches up with Horn.

Horn breaks the clinch.
Horn tries to clinch up
and Jacobs counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Horn throws a head kick but Jacobs moves out of range.
Horn checks a leg kick.

Jacobs pushes Horn up against the cage in a clinch.
Jacobs blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Horn wants a takedown but no success here.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Horn.

Jacobs jumps guard.
Jacobs bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Horn's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Horn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jacobs doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jacobs manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Horn seems keen to control Jacobs's posture.
Jacobs has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Horn keeping moving, preventing Jacobs from controlling successfully.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jacobs connects with a couple of short punches.
Horn has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Jacobs has passed into side control.

Jacobs has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Horn is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Jacobs yanks on the arm and Horn is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Jacobs.
