Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Haage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Makleiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Makleiz cracks Haage with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Makleiz dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Haage. That did some damage!

Makleiz lands a big head kick that sends Haage tumbling to the mat! Makleiz takes a step backwards and waves Haage back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oh Haage is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Makleiz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Nice uppercut lands for Makleiz. That snapped Haage's head back.

Jeez, Peter Haage's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Makleiz tries to land a knee to the head but Haage blocks with his arms.
Makleiz is looking to control Haage's arms but Haage gets an underhook and turns him. Now Makleiz has his back to the cage.
Makleiz is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Haage has denied him.
