Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Egzavea Madden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steffa Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Madden comes into the arena with Breackdown blaring out of the sound system. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutten circles away from the clinch attempt.
Madden misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Madden dodges the punch combination from Rutten.
Madden shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rutten as he avoids it easily.
Rutten lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Rutten jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Madden looks for a takedown but Rutten sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Egzavea Madden. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rutten smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rutten feints and then cracks Madden's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Madden down.
Nice jab there from Rutten.
It looks like Egzavea Madden has been cut.
Rutten stuffs the takedown.
Madden takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Madden changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rutten tries to avoid it but Madden manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rutten to the ground. Rutten escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Madden shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rutten sprawls well. Rutten wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Madden gets slowly back to his feet.
Madden is breathing heavily.
Rutten lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Madden at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rutten throws out a powerful jab.
Madden dives in and grabs Rutten's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rutten pushes down on Madden's head and hops out.
Rutten throws a series of strikes that have Madden backpedaling.
Rutten ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Madden takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Rutten with a hook.
A punch lands to the side of Madden 's head but he takes it in his stride.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
BOOM! Rutten lands a beautiful left hook that drops Madden. Madden tries to recover but Rutten is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Madden lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steffa Rutten!
