Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zach Parise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gilles StPaul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). StPaul has chosen Kashmir as his entrance music. Gilles StPaul will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parise scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Parise tries to close the distance and clinch but StPaul swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Zach Parise has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gilles StPaul.
Parise cracks StPaul with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

StPaul pushes off an throws an elbow but Parise leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Parise's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Parise bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of StPaul's head.
StPaul is rocked!
Parise rushes StPaul with punches - StPaul moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, StPaul goes down! Parise follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zach Parise!
