Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Ronbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George St Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ronnie Ronbo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George St Pierre! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! St Pierre keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. St Pierre tries to close the distance and clinch but Ronbo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. St Pierre scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Ronnie Ronbo has been cut. Nice takedown defense from Ronbo. No joy for St Pierre on that attempt. St Pierre throws a hook to the side of Ronbo's head but Ronbo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. St Pierre thuds his right hand into Ronbo's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Nice shot by St Pierre. St Pierre closes the distance and clinches. Ronbo drops to a knee looking for a takedown but St Pierre gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ronbo is looking to break free of the clinch but St Pierre has double underhooks. Ronbo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. St Pierre avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronnie Ronbo. That's going to take a lot out of him. St Pierre drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ronbo pulls his leg out and moves away.

Ronbo is rocked! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ronbo tries to improve position but can't. St Pierre sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Ronbo is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. St Pierre looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. St Pierre working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Ronbo is looking to regain half guard here but St Pierre keeps moving and retains side control. St Pierre is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ronbo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. St Pierre tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Ronbo wants to control but St Pierre postures up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ronbo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but St Pierre avoids it really well and circles away. St Pierre stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and St Pierre wants it to stay on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ronbo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but St Pierre manages to avoid it. St Pierre tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ronbo swivels and escapes. St Pierre tries to clinch but Ronbo moves out of range. Ronbo avoids the head kick by St Pierre.

Jab by St Pierre. Ronbo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. St Pierre tries to avoid it but Ronbo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag St Pierre to the ground. St Pierre escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. St Pierre misses with the combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. St Pierre lunges at Ronbo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ronbo's hand. St Pierre moves into the clinch. St Pierre breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. St Pierre cracks Ronbo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. A right-left combo lands from St Pierre. Ronbo drives through and clinches with St Pierre against the cage.

Good leg kick by St Pierre there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ronbo is breathing heavily. St Pierre gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. St Pierre scores with a takedown into Ronbo's guard.

And that's the end of the fight! George St Pierre comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well St Pierre has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
