Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Vujeva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Smithers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vujeva comes to the cage accompanied by Wild Boys. Smithers is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Metallica - No Leaf Clover. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mirko Vujeva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Jim Smithers!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vujeva throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Smithers decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Smithers is working for a kimura but Vujeva is defending it quite comfortably.
Vujeva wants to get back to full guard.
Vujeva on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Vujeva tries to get out of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smithers is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Vujeva doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Smithers.
Vujeva pushes Smithers off looking to stand but Smithers dives back in and keeps control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Vujeva is defending against the submission attempts here by Smithers.
Smithers is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Vujeva is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
