Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Igor Datchuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Jacko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Datchuk.
Datchuk misses with a straight right. Datchuk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jacko moves away. Jacko shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Datchuk as he avoids it easily. Jacko is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Datchuk lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Jacko sprawling to the canvas. Datchuk follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Jacko hang on?
It looks like James Jacko has been cut. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jacko moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Jacko throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Jacko preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Datchuk wants to get up but he can't break Jacko's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Datchuk looking to pass the guard. That's one minute gone in the round. Jacko looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Datchuk preventing the sweep. Datchuk passes Jacko's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Datchuk wants to take a breather but Jacko is having none of it. Jacko wants to improve his position but Datchuk is controlling well.
Jacko looks gassed! Jacko is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Datchuk's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Datchuk's back! Jacko tightening his grip on Datchuk, looking for the choke. Datchuk tries to roll but Jacko sticks to his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Datchuk is working hard here to advance position. Datchuk turns into Jacko and is now in his guard.
Datchuk is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Jacko is looking to sweep but instead, Datchuk has passed into half guard.
Datchuk drops an elbow to the side of Jacko's head. Datchuk has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Jacko is in all sorts of trouble here.
Jacko manages to regain half guard. Good work. Jacko won't allow Datchuk to pass to mount. Jacko actively working from the bottom here.

Jacko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Datchuk gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Datchuk is posturing up here but Jacko has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Datchuk tries to roll out but it's too tight and Datchuk has to tap! Slick submission there by Jacko!
