Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cardinal Richelieu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Lee Williams was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Richelieu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Williams tries a low kick but Richelieu avoids it.

Richelieu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Williams thows a body shot but no joy.
Richelieu fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lee Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams throws a nice inside leg kick.
Richelieu ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Richelieu darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Richelieu slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Williams misses with a hook. Richelieu ducked under it nicely.

Williams wants to slow Richelieu down by chopping away at his legs.

Richelieu cracks Williams with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Williams looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Richelieu finish him?

and Richelieu counters with a double leg. Williams bangs his head on the mat and seems to be on queer street here... Richelieu follows up with punches and the ref steps in to end the fight! It was the slam that caused all the problems.
