Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Dixon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Vera!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vera misses with a takedown attempt - Dixon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Vera fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dixon digs a good hook to Vera's body.
Vera fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dixon avoids it really well and circles away.
Vera is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dixon jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Vera tries for a takedown but Dixon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jimmy Dixon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Vera.
Dixon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vera was well out of range. Poor timing from Dixon.
Dixon thuds a left hand into Vera's body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vera is defended easily by Dixon.
Dixon looks to score with a jab to the body but Vera is just out of range.
Vera throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Dixon slaps away a takedown attempt from Vera, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Vera looks gassed!
Vera shoots in and drives through. Dixon sprawls well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vera will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Vera fails with a takedown attempt.
Vera takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
A lazy left from Dixon finds it's target.
Vera showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dixon.
A left and a right from Dixon both land. Nice combination.
Dixon throws a nice looking combination but Vera bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dixon looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Vera!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vera taking shots to the head.
Vera is rocked!
Dixon is working for a guillotine from mount but Vera frees his head quite easily.
Vera is still in real trouble! Can Dixon finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dixon looking to control but Vera is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Dixon lands a big elbow - Vera is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Vera is forced to tap out!
