Penn throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
De la Hoya misses with a double jab.
Penn showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from De la Hoya.
Penn shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. De la Hoya manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Penn throws a strike but De la Hoya rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Penn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Penn bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in De la Hoya's guard.

De la Hoya wants to sweep here but Penn controlling him for the moment.

Penn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. De la Hoya doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Penn is tightening it up a little... De la Hoya has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! De la Hoya reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! De la Hoya taps out! nice BJJ there by Penn!
