The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Lee checks a leg kick.
Vasama fails in his attempt to clinch.
Vasama moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Vasama throws a leg kick but Lee checks it.
Vasama scoring well with a low kick there.
Vasama attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A chopping leg kick lands by Vasama.

Lee chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Vasama can pounce on him.

Vasama breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lee sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Lee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Lee jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Vasama is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Vasama and Lee has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Lee is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Vasama knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Lee swings around for an armbar but Vasama sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lee's guard.
Vasama slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lee is trying to escape the position but Vasama is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee is trying to control Vasama's posture but Vasama avoids it.
Vasama lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lee down.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lee prevents Vasama from moving into mount.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Vasama takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Lee lands a glancing blow to the side of Vasama's head.
Vasama tries to close the distance and clinch but Lee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Lee cracks a nice hook into Vasama's ribs.
Lee is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Lee cracks Vasama with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Lee fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Lee takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lee jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Vasama tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Lee is able to avoid easily.

Vasama drops his hands momentarily and Lee takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Lee moves out of range as Vasama throws a body kick.
Vasama pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lee is out of range and Vasama settles back down.

Lee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vasama pinned against the cage. Vasama gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Lee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Lee is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Vasama is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
