Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Johanssen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dork Fish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, David Johanssen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dork Fish!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fish tries to clinch up but Johanssen circles away and keeps his distance.
Johanssen connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Fish tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Johanssen is able to avoid easily.
Johanssen stuffs the takedown attempt from Fish. Fish gets slowly back to his feet.
Fish throws a right and a left that both miss.
Johanssen throws a right and a left that Fish avoids nicely.
Fish jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fish tries to score with a low kick but Johanssen moves his leg out of the way.
Fish lands a jab-cross combination.
A combination from Johanssen does no damage.
Fish stalks Johanssen and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Johanssen's face. Johanssen staggers backwards, shaken.


It looks like David Johanssen has been cut.
Johanssen cracks a nice hook into Fish's ribs.
Fish tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Johanssen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Fish loads up on a big right hand but Johanssen slips the punch.
Fish is looking to clinch but Johanssen is avoiding it.
Johanssen connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.


It looks like Dork Fish has been cut.

Fish throws a jab when Johanssen was well out of range.
Dork Fish seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fish is looking to clinch.
Fish with a nice cross.
Fish fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Fish rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Johanssen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Johanssen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Johanssen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That has opened up Dork Fish's cut even more.
Fish works over Johanssen's head and body with a nice combination.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Crunch! Johanssen slams his shin into Fish's torso.
Johanssen connects with a high kick.
Fish gets cracked there but stands up to it.


The cut above Dork Fish's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Johanssen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

David Johanssen dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Johanssen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Johanssen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Fish prevents Johanssen from taking his back.
Fish can't escape the position.

Johanssen has hold of Fish's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fish manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Johanssen wants to take his opponent's back but Fish doesn't allow it.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fish bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Johanssen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fish can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fish drops back looking for a leg! Johanssen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Johanssen manages to kick Fish off! Fish jumps back into Johanssen's guard.

Fish stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johanssen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fish thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Fish moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Johanssen has worked his arm free - good work by Johanssen!

Fish is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Johanssen tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fish working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Johanssen's head.

Fish drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Johanssen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fish has Johanssen in his guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Johanssen is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fish is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That was a close second round but I would say that David Johanssen will probably get the nod.

Fish drops back looking for a leg! Johanssen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Johanssen manages to kick Fish off! Fish jumps back into Johanssen's guard.

Johanssen has control of Fish's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Fish regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dork Fish has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to David Johanssen.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Johanssen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
