Alves has chosen Bob Marley - Get Up Stand Up as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Dante.
Alves jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dante tries to clinch up but Alves circles away and keeps his distance.
Alves throws an overhand right that lands on Dante's shoulder, as Dante tries to avoid the shot.
Dante tries to bum rush Alves with a series of wild strikes but Alves uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Alves swinging wildly here.

Dante swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

A slapping body kick lands there for Dante.
Dante throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Alves lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Dante goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Alves throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dante sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Dante moves in looking to clinch but Alves pushes him off.

Alves cracks Dante with an open hand slap.
Alves ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Alves drops Dante with a beautiful combination! Dante stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Alves is looking for the KO!
Oh Dante is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dante throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Alves moves out of range of the body kick.
Alves lands a brutal uppercut that launches Dante off his feet! Dante tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
