Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jinx Delgulo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Hatcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Delgulo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Starlight. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jinx Delgulo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tommy Hatcher!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hatcher.
Delgulo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Hatcher gets a takedown into half guard.
Hatcher is looking to advance position but Delgulo won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Delgulo is trying to stand back up but Hatcher is controlling him
Hatcher wants to stand up but Delgulo is controlling the position.
Delgulo tries to get to full guard but Hatcher has control of the leg.
Hatcher content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Hatcher tries to stand and escape but Delgulo is controlling the position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hatcher lands a nice short elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hatcher content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Hatcher working over Delgulo with some ground and pound. Delgulo looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Hatcher looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hatcher's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Hatcher throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Hatcher wants to get back to his feet.
Hatcher keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Delgulo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hatcher is working away from the top position though.

Hatcher decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Hatcher is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Delgulo's half guard.

Hatcher shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Delgulo sprawls well. Delgulo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hatcher gets slowly back to his feet.

Jinx Delgulo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Hatcher.

and Hatcher counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Hatcher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Delgulo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Delgulo has his foot on Hatcher's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hatcher works his way back into a safe position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Despite being in the dominant position, Tommy Hatcher just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Delgulo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hatcher as he jumps to the side.
Delgulo slaps away a takedown attempt from Hatcher, before circling back to the center of the mat.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Delgulo stuffs the takedown attempt from Hatcher. Hatcher gets slowly back to his feet.

and Hatcher counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hatcher.
Hatcher must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Delgulo trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Delgulo with a lazy takedown attempt

and Hatcher counters with a single leg into guard. Delgulo didn't expect that.
Hatcher is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Delgulo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Hatcher is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Hatcher stands up and waves to Delgulo to follow him.
