Perry comes to the cage accompanied by Lützenkirchen - Leer aber Techno. Dole has chosen Don't Speak by Eagles of Death Metal as his entrance music. Bob Dole has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dole stuffs the takedown.

Perry changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dole fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Dole has closed the distance and engaged Perry in a clinch.

Dole breaks from the clinch.
Perry tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Dole counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Perry gets a clinch.

Dole breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Perry misses with a takedown
and Dole counters with a left to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fred Perry. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice shot lands for Dole.
Dole connects with a good right hand that stumbles Perry. Perry circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Dole scores with a jab to the head.
Dole lands a right hook to the body.
Dole thumps Perry with a low kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Dole jabs Perry right on the nose. Perry blinks but takes it well.


Perry is rocked!
Dole connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Perry to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Dole!
