Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Rotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Striker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rotch kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ruff Riders Anthem. Striker is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Born in the U.S.A.. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Rotch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christian Striker! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Striker uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rotch. Striker avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Rotch throws a series of punches but Striker avoids them all with ease. Striker shoots for a takedown but Rotch saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rotch throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Striker shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rotch as he jumps to the side. Rotch lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rotch just misses with a punch to the body.
Rotch looks to throw the jab but Striker is out of range. Rotch swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rotch keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Rotch throws a big shot that misses. Striker shoots in and bounces Rotch off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Rotch trying to control the position.
Rotch looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Striker trying to control the position from guard on top but Rotch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rotch working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Striker. Striker loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Striker throws a big right hand that misses. Striker working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Rotch is trying to keep Striker in close.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Rotch throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rotch stuffs the takedown attempt from Striker. Striker gets slowly back to his feet. Mike Rotch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christian Striker. Rotch misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Striker looks for a takedown but Rotch sprawls well. Rotch jabs at Striker's body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Striker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rotch manages to avoid it. Mike Rotch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rotch lands a slapping body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rotch. Striker does a little dance to reset his feet. Rotch throws a hook but Striker avoids it easily. Striker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rotch's waist but Rotch gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Striker off to one side.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rotch looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Striker takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Striker slips a straight right by Rotch. Striker fails to land the takedown. Mike Rotch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rotch missing with a left hand there. Striker was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rotch throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rotch throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Striker sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rotch throws a big shot that misses. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rotch misses the shot to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Rotch dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Striker has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Rotch finds it's way round the side to connect with Striker's head. Rotch lands a glancing blow to the side of Striker's head. Striker takes a body punch but keeps moving. Striker ducks under a wild hook from Rotch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rotch swings for the body but Striker moves out of range.
Rotch pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Striker shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Rotch throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Striker shoots for a takedown but Rotch saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mike Rotch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Christian Striker.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rotch fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Striker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Rotch lands a jab to the head.
Striker fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Rotch misses with a body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rotch connects with a looping right hand.
Christian Striker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The fighters circling - Rotch throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Rotch misses with an uppercut. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rotch scores with a hook.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Rotch showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rotch, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
