Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Audrius Polinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Ruanti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruanti lands a head kick. Polinski smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Audrius Polinski has been cut.
Ruanti wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ruanti chopping away at his opponent's legs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Polinski gets caught flat footed, as Ruanti shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Ruanti stops Polinski from standing up.
Polinski is looking to stand back up but Ruanti counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Polinski.

Ruanti passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Polinski!

Ruanti looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Polinski is trying to stand.

Ruanti scoring with strikes but Polinski is staying in there.

Ruanti looking to secure an arm triangle but Polinski defends it well.
Ruanti connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Ruanti lands a big shot there that rocks Polinski but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Polinski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ruanti jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Polinski is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Polinski and Ruanti has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Polinski is working to avoid the ground and pound but Ruanti connects with a decent elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ruanti scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Polinski to see if he's OK.
Polinski is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ruanti asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Ruanti looks up at the clock and then as Polinski takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ruanti smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ruanti in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Polinski is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
